We have a major problem in our society that needs to be addressed. Too many of us try to become rich and famous by following the examples of mega celebrities. We buy their books, we go to their seminars, we sweat along to their workout tapes and we drink their gag-inducing low-cal, kale-infused diet shakes. We try to be like them in every way imaginable and we end up becoming depressed when we invariably fail.
The real issue is that these celebrities aren’t like us. Let’s face it: We’ll never have the charisma of Anthony Robbins, the business acumen of Donald Trump, the athleticism of LeBron James or the financial head start of Kim Kardashian. These people are the exception to the rule, and we continue to make the mistake of treating them as the rule itself.
You will likely never be like any of these high achievers. You may pick up some tips from them, but you’ll never duplicate their wealth or success. And frankly, why do you need to? Do you really need to have houses on six continents or have your face splashed across the cover of 25 different magazines? Do you really want to hire a team of bodyguards to protect your wellbeing or dress up in elaborate disguises just to go out in public? Too many people are looking for the pot at the end of the rainbow, and it’s simply not there. What is there is plenty of loose change, scattered all over the ground and it’s easier to find then you may think!
We need to start learning from people we can actually be like. People we actually share something in common with. People, like myself. I’m just a normal guy trying to do abnormal things - one of which is to do as little as possible and make as much as possible. I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth but I’ve gone onto to become an actor, comedian, producer, general manager, investor, and all around hired-gun.
I want to show you how to make the most out of the cards you’ve been dealt with the least amount of effort. I’m not going to teach you how to make billions of dollars or become an overnight celebrity, but I will help you achieve real, attainable goals through sound advice, personal stories and outrageous anecdotes that are every bit as entertaining as they are instructive.
I'm not here to drastically change your life, I'm just trying to change your life ‘a bit'. In other words, I want to help you become semi-successful. I know what you’re thinking: “Why is this guy not telling me I’m going to become ultra successful?" Because that’s marketing bullshit, and I refuse to peddle the same crap that everyone else does. I’m telling you that you can learn some things that will have an impact on your life - that's it.
So what exactly does it mean to be semi-successful? On a very basic level it means being financially stable, investing your money wisely, working at something you don't hate, reducing drama, getting what you want, living in a nice place, taking a run on the beach, and wining and dining to your heart’s content. It’s about doing an abundance of things rather than having an abundance of things. If that sounds appealing to you I have tools, tricks and methodologies to take you there.
