Guilt-Free Living
How many times have you felt guilty about something you have done, or did not do? Most of us have experienced more guilt and self-condemnation than we want to admit. Sometimes friends and family members impose a bit of guilt and shame on us. Perhaps we missed a family function, forgot an important birthday or did not measure up to someone’s expectations. We might just hear about how we fell short, either directly from the injured party or through the grapevine. The subconscious purpose is to make us feel as terrible about ourselves (as they supposedly feel) due to our mistake. Ironically, it’s generally not needed because most of us feel badly already without being reminded of our shortcomings. Although there are times when a guilty conscience is due to a specific issue, many times guilt is unfounded and comes from a learned pattern within. Have you ever made a decision or a choice out of guilt? Do you say yes, committing to do things that you really don’t want to do? Do you beat yours... »

Mid-Life Blossoming – Part 2
MID LIFE BLOSSOMING Part 2 Hmmmm …. This is a very Interesting time in my life. I know I’m on the brink of something amazing! Yet times are tough and I seem to be shifting in and out faith. Last week I felt great! I was in complete acceptance of “the process”. I could see why we needed all this extra time for the development of my current business. I saw clearly that our original goals were way too ambitious. And it was easy for me to look at the progress we’ve made and be happy about that alone. Fast forward to this week ….. ugh! I’ve been frustrated! Shouldn’t my business be off the ground by now? Shouldn’t I be blossoming by now? All the seeds I’ve planted, all the work I’ve done, all the creating and discovering … Why have I not manifested my dreams yet? Why do I feel like they’re so far away right now? What do I need to do to make this happen quicker? I’m clear … I know exactly what I want to create – why is it taking so long? Whew …. Stop … Breathe deep …. Take a chill pill …. Ti... »
Take the Kale Challenge …
TAKE THE KALE CHALLENGE … Many of you know from watching the videos, I eat Kale almost everyday. It’s probably my favorite vegetable of all times. When it comes to fruits and veggies, have you heard, “the richer the color – the higher the nutritional value”? Well, that certainly holds true for Kale. Kale is a cruciferous vegetable that can be considered a super food that contains antioxidant and anti-inflammatory nutrients, macronutrients (the average U.S. adult is currently deficient in), and cancer-preventive nutrients. For a few decades now, we’ve known that many phytonutrients work as antioxidants disarming free radicals before they can cause damage to DNA, cell membranes and fat-containing molecules such as cholesterol. New research is now revealing the phytonutrients in cruciferous vegetables, such as kale, work on a way deeper level. They actually signal our genes to increase production of enzymes involved in detoxification, (which eliminates harmful compounds). The ... »
Journaling … Interior Dusting
What’s so great about journaling ? For me, I like the way it clears my mind and opens the space for the creative juices to flow freely. I call it “Interior Dusting”… Dusting the old brain. You can start by asking yourself, “is there anything weighing heavy on my mind? Is there anything that plays over and over again in my mind that is not peaceful or positive? Then write whatever comes to your mind from there. Don’t sensor it and don’t try to put it in perfectly grammatical sentences. Just write down whatever comes to your mind. What are your concerns ? What are you not confident about? Write it – get it out on paper …. so you no longer have to carry that heavy weight around. Breathe deeply as you write about anything stressful. Then recognize and remember – this is not who you are – this is simply a part of your experience …. Rise above and observe yourself. How are you handling it? With ease and grace? Or are you sinking into it and allowing every part of your body to be stressed abo... »
