Go with the flow …
Practice going with the flow everyday for 28 days … This month is about creating an easy going, easy flowing nature. It’s about letting go of control and the need to have a certain outcome. It’s about accepting the way things are and going with it - not resisting - even if things aren’t the way you expect or want them to be. It’s about being able to be spontaneous and switch things up even if it “messes up your routine” - perhaps your routine needs a little shaking up, yeah? To really go with the flow - we’ve got to be flexible in our entire being. Going with the flow does not mean physically doing something to show others you’re going with the flow - yet resenting it. It’s always about the energy behind it, the space you’re coming from. It means accepting things without getting angry or frustrated, and embracing it with your entire being … your physical , mental and psychological being. It means having faith that things are perfect the way they are - even if you had to break your comf... »

Choose LOVE not fear
Practice choosing LOVE everyday for 28 days throughout all aspects of your life with your thoughts, actions and words. By coming from a space of LOVE on a regular basis you will attract your highest good and discover more harmony in your life. What kind of energy are you putting out into the world ? Do you project loving energy when you greet people - or is it more fear based? Notice your tone of voice when you speak to others … is that the way you want to be spoken to? What about your thoughts … are you judgemental of yourself and others? Or do you tend to look at the best qualities in yourself and others? With so much fear in the social consciousness of society, it’s necessary to practice choosing LOVE on a regular basis. It’s about taking a powerful stance and not allowing exterior circumstances to bring you down. It’s about tapping in to your higher self on a regular basis and living your life from there. It’s about rising above stressful situations and making choices from a positi... »
Don’t Get Discouraged with your Computer
Sometimes you’re looking at your computer monitor and you get so frustrated because something is not working or a web page is not loading. I think this an area that we all quickly could lose our cool. This can add stress in any situation resulting in a muscle in your back or neck tightening up ect ect. You don’t realize that getting mad at your computer can be unhealthy! The funny thing is, your computer can’t do anything to help you. You have to be able to take a step back and take a deep breath and relax before you can find the solution to the problem. Sometimes the solution is still not obvious at which point you should ask for help. There’s nothing wrong with that. You will save yourself unwanted stress in the process. The key thing about your computer is that it’s like a treasure chest, if you don’t look into the treasure chest, you won’t discover anything. Taking the time to click on things just to see what they do can’t hurt your c... »
A New Way to Look at New Year’s Resolutions
As a personal trainer and aerobic instructor I can speak from experience. Every health club and gym, every yoga studio and Cross Fit location will be packed to the brim the week after New Year’s. Commercials will feature weight loss plans, diet drinks and new exercise equipment promising to carve off inches and burn off fat. Magazines will run thousands of advertisements for protein shakes and diet bars claiming to add energy and years to your life while peeling off the pounds that Americans gain between Thanksgiving and New Years. It is a predictable cycle of marketing because it is a predictable state that people find themselves in each and every January. I believe that we are all a complex blend of the physical, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual. Each component affects the others, be it positively or negatively. So in 2012, consider a new approach to setting goals. Create resolutions that are more holistic in nature and encompass more than just a weight loss goal. Now, I am not... »
